With reference to paragraphs 2 and 3 of your

pal Confidential Despatch of the 16th. of last February, I have the

honour to transmit a copy of a report dated the 13th. idem by the Committee which Sir F. D. Lugard appointed to consider the selection of a suitable site for the erection of a High Power Wireless

Station. I enclose also a copy of a letter dated the 5th. Larch from the Commander-in-Chief, China Station, expressing his full

concurrence in the site recommended.

I am dealing separately with the question

alluded to in paragraph 3 of the Committee's report of erecting a commercial wireless station in this Colony and I hope shortly to

submit my views on that subject for your consideration.
